In 2003, Sestero was given one of the main roles in the 2003 cult film The Room. The movie’s very poor outcome and reception became Sestero’s outlet to write his best-selling book, later adapted into a film that premiered in 2017 and made $29.8 million worldwide.

Since then, Sestero has steadily pursued the role of being a writer and producer alongside being an actor. With the success of his book, the movie, and his career as a whole, people find it hard to believe that Greg Sestero’s net worth is just around $800,000 for 2022.
