Chris interest in music were sparked by his parents. While his father earned a living from selling jukeboxes, his mother, Vivian Lord, was a pianist, jazz singer, and Music Theory professor.
In 1988, he moved to Los Angeles and started working at A&M studios. He produced sensational work on multiple projects for Eddie Money, Tina Turner, Oingo Boingo, Jude Cole, Stevie Nicks, and more.
Chris won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Mixing in the year 2000. He got that award for mixing a music series for HBO known as “Cher Live at The MGM Grand.”
